Meghan is the proud new owner of One Broadway Dance Academy (OBDA). she is honored to have the opportunity to grow OBDA while sharing her love of dance and performing arts with families in the Hershey, PA area.
Meghan began dancing at the age of 3 and transferred to OBDA as an 8-year-old. OBDA was instrumental in cultivating her passion while providing a highly technical dance education. Meghan has a B.A. in Musical Theatre and Dance from JMU and spent 4 years performing across the country before she settled in Hershey, PA with her husband. Meghan’s performance contracts ranged from theme park, to touring companies and regional theatres; most notably Ogunquit Playhouse, Prather Entertainment Group, Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, Galveston Island Musicals, Granbury Opera House and Cohoes Music Hall. Meghan’s professional performance career enabled her to travel the country and hone her craft while doing what she loved. Meghan remains connected to fellow performers who are still active in the dance and performance industry and her experience makes her a great resource for the dancer who strives to continue dancing after high school and perhaps professionally.
Meghan has been teaching for OBDA since 2009 and adores being in the classroom. Meghan believes in the value of a solid technical foundation for a dancer’s growth and physical health but is invested in educating the whole child. She encourages her students to work hard and grow at their own pace; each student has a unique journey. Meghan has choreographed award-winning pieces for the OBDA Star Company and loves teaching all ages and levels of dance. Her students inspire her, bring her JOY and leave a lasting impression that she can only hope to reciprocate.
Lifelong Hershey residents, Meghan and her husband, Aaron, have deep Hershey roots. They love raising their three children (Hadley, Dawson and Emerson) here and are excited to be a part of their community in a larger way as dance studio owners.

Dancing since age two, Katie has had no greater joy in life than performing and sharing that passion for dance with others through teaching! At age six Katie was chosen by her teachers to be the youngest member of her studio's dance team. Being a member of this elite competition team opened her eyes to new dancers while traveling up and down the East Coast for regional and national dance competitions. Over the next ten years she would attend more than 50 competitions in over 10 states! Along with competing, Katie has performed at Walt Disney World and at the Olympic torch ceremony in 1996. After completing 15 years of dance education at Wendy's Dance Studio, in Fairless Hills, PA she knew she could not walk away from competing and performing! Katie's academic pursuits led her to Drexel University in Philadelphia, where she studied Biology and Education. While at Drexel she was chosen to be on the Drexel University Dance Team. Katie spent five years with the team while obtaining her Bachelor's and Masters in education. Being named captain the last three years, Katie pushed her teammates and coaches to enter the collegiate competition realm. Through both the Universal Dance Association and the National Dance Association Katie claimed personal awards and team awards. Only six months prior to graduation, Katie led her team to the 2011 UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship. With the support of her teammates and coaches Katie had achieved her dream of competing one last time! After graduation, Katie started her first teaching position in Columbia, MD at Atholton High School teaching her love of science. After one year she was offered to coach the dance team which Katie to expanded into a Junior Varsity and Varsity Squad. Both teams qualified for the MAPDA State Championship, where her Varsity team placed 3rd, as well individual awards for two of her students. Katie is very excited to be teaching at One Broadway after recently moving to the Hershey Area. Starting this new chapter in her life, she knows that she can share the same joy of dance, while training her students with the level of expertise she experienced in her dance career.
